With The Romi Saga, I am creating an innovative form of Grounded Fantasy Sci-Fi. Inspired by real and theoretical physics, I combine analytical sharpness with values like honor, loyalty, and mentoring. In this reality, humanity is oppressed across various worlds by the Consortium. This power stands for a ruthless enslavement through drugs and psychological manipulation, where an individual life is worth nothing.
The plot unfolds across worlds with different political, social, and technological developmental stages, where high technology is often only partially functional or entirely impossible. Within this tension field, the warrior Romi utilizes her highly specialized katanas as precision weapons, while the narrative shifts between combat on solid ground and the endless expanse of space. Her true given name remains an unsolved mystery across all worlds. We experience this evolution on worlds such as the barren wastes of Halo and within the thickets of the jungle world Kilyne. With each volume, the journey penetrates deeper into the cosmos.
Once, the Navigators ensured order in the universe until they vanished without a trace, leaving behind the USC Cassandra as their final legacy. The ship was built to prevent a dangerous course of the future, yet its awakening demands a steep price. Jeff, the genetic successor of the captain, and Romi, the sole neurological link to this power, are the last hope. Guided by the technological nervous system of the AI Cassandra, they must learn to work together to end the artificial Middle Ages and bring the truth behind the Great Silence to light. I am designing not just a story, but a logically grounded universe that challenges the reader and moves them deeply on an emotional level.

At her side stands Jeff, whose character breaks the fascinating 58/35 paradox: the melancholic maturity and strategic experience of a 58-year-old tactician, trapped in the biologically regenerated body of a 35-year-old.
